Amy Olivant, RVN joined us in 2019 to cover a maternity vacancy. She began her career as a veterinary receptionist before deciding to begin her veterinary nurse training in Meldreth where she qualified in 2013. After a year in general practice she worked at a local referral centre and then took a position specialising in Oncology nursing at the Royal Veterinary College. She was keen to return to general practice and has a special interest in geriatric patients and cancer treatments.She has a Tibetan Terrier called Storm and a rescue Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross called BamBam and a feisty rescue cat called Edna. She loves having rescue animals due to their big personalities and unpredictability! In her spare time she enjoys meeting friends and walking her dogs.
