A very warm welcome is extended to everybody from Elizabeth Smith Veterinary Practice. We are an independantly owned small animal and equine practice located on the road between the villages of Ickwell and Upper Caldecote, near Biggleswade.
The practice was established in 1982 by Mrs Helen Papworth, but a constant expansion meant that we moved from the original premises in Ickwell Green to Shuttleworth College in April 1998.
Elizabeth Smith joined the practice in 1994 and bought it from Helen in May 2002. Her goal was to design and build a permanaent, purpose built practice and we finally moved into our current premises on 3rd March 2011.
Our vision is to provide the best, first opinion small animal and equine veterinary care for your pets. We strive to give excellent customer care by providing a sympathetic, flexible and efficient service as we offer the personal touch and do our best to encourage case continuity. As most of us are pet owners ourselves we understand the hugely important role our pets have as a member of our families.
I would like to extend my thanks to all those clients who attended our hugely successful Open Day that we held at the practice on 13th July. We have been able to donate £217.12p each to Canine Partners and our local Cat Protection group and made a small contribution to Caldecote Scout Group for their help manning the car park. There a few pictures on our Facebook page and more on the gallery if you click on the link above.
